Tresor Kandol and Glenn Murray to swap clubs?

Leeds striker Tresor Kandol is allowed to leave the club. He didn't feature in the plans of McAllister and Simon Grayson also doesn't want him.

He spent last season on loan at both Millwall and Charlton. He scored goals for both.

Kandol wants to go back down SOUTH.
Murray wants to go back up NORTH.

Could a swap be worked out?

I'd rather have an uninterested Murray rather than Kandol any day.
If both McAllister & Grayson didn't rate him, they must have had a good reason.

Umm no, Glenn is actually good. We'd need about 600k in cash to make the swap worthwhile i feel.

That'd be a good call. It'd also mean that we wouldn't lose out financially as we wouldn't have to pay any of the sell on clause that we put on to Rochdale from when we bought Murray.

HAHAHAHA. You don't seriously think we're going to get anywhere near that for him do you? If he goes in this transfer window we're not even going to make back the money we paid for him, let alone any profit!

Like he said, to make the swap WORTHWHILE it would be pointless settling for less. In 2-3 years Murray will be putting them away at a Championship club.

What do you mean by worthwhile? Unless Murray stays all season and scores 30+ goals (neither of which look like happening), there is no way he is going to be sold for £600k. At this stage, given the bridges he has burnt within the club (quoting Slade there) and with the supporters, I think it's WORTHWHILE getting rid of him for whatever we can get.

Honestly the best we can hope for at the moment is for Murray to come out and apologise to the fans, and try and start a clean slate. When fit and firing he is worth plenty more than 300k.

Dickinson was sold for 750k a year ago, to give you some perspective.

I agree entirely that would be the best way things could go. However I'm not holding my breath, and without some kind of apology (at the very least an apology to Slade and/or others at the club for his behaviour with them) I think his position at the club is becoming increasingly untenable.

If you read one of the other current threads, it looks like (according to Dean White) there was a genuine reason for him missing the huddle (getting his hernia checked straight away).

Fair enough, but that's on the back of Slade's comments at the fans forum that Murray had already burnt some bridges. As I say, I've got my fingers crossed, but without any great hope.

Yeah that did concern me. To be honest I don't think us fans know the half of it, Murray seems overall to be a genuinely nice guy and I'm sure if the fans knew his personal situation they would be slightly more forgiving.

I will admit what he did on Saturday was very, very stupid but I don't think there was any malice in it at all, either carelessness or perhaps just feeling a bit fed up, and feeling it would be disingenuous to clap the fans?

People have read so much more into it than I think was intended.

Not for Murray on his own bruv, for us to take Kandol off Leeds.
