Traveling by train today..season ticket question

What's the crack with travel can I use my season ticket as train ticket once in Sussex or am I wrong in thinking its a travel voucher aswell? Not sure how it works?

Haywards Heath if your coming in from that direction on the train, you can use the buses in Brighton, that's all I know!

Lewes from the east and Shoreham from the west are the other train station boundaries.

You use your Season ticket as your train ticket/travel voucher from Shoreham. Problem for us mate is that it's no cheaper to buy a ticket to Shoreham than Falmer.
