With being new to the area i have no idea how to get about, i need to get to the Withdean on a Wednesday for 6pm, il be going from Newhaven by public transport and was wondering the best way to go about it.

I looked online and the nearest station appears to be Preston Park, is there a bus in the area from Newhaven or heading into Brighton then another bus.

i was not fortunate enough to visit the Withdean (jcl and all that)

Its a difficult one, train would probably be the quickest route I would say.

You can get the 12 to the Old Steine in Brighton, followed by the 5 or 5A to Withdean. But the train as you said would probs be quickest mate

Lol yes but i been invited to play with Albion in the Community on Wednesday night, and the shuttle bus runs from the Withdean.

The 12 is quite regular from Eastbourne to Brighton, and the 5/5A are every few minutes from the Old Steine. But it is a very busy time of night, so may be busy.

Train to London road then walk to Preston circus (about 5mins) then get bus 5or5a to withdean!
