There is a bus I thought? 23 or 25? Although if ever I came from that way I would have a pint in the Longman and get their free bus along.

I think you'd have to get bus into Brighton, jump off somewhere around The Level & then get 25/28/29 to Falmer. As suggested, you could just use P&R from Mill Rd.

Get the 5/5A or 5B to Springfield Road stop, walk up to London Road station for train.
Much quicker than 25.

Seagull travel. Stops various places in Carden Ave. incl Sainsbury . You have to pay but very good service and leaves half hour after game

Took me over 50 minutes from near the Clock Tower when I did it, and that was when it was dry, going down through Stanmer ParK.
