I'm taking my 70 aunt to AMEX Saturday. We're both driving.

Is the Racecourse P&R the best option? Will getting there at 2pm be ok?

Alternative is parking in Hove and catching the train (or even Lewes) but that sounds like the worse option.

Sensible advice please?

Thanks
ss

Mill Road, get there before 2.

I'd go for the Racecourse option. There's always room on the bus and 2pm is fine.

I'd avoid Mill Road .. was there last week and they said they are not allowing the overflow anymore and they were so urging everyone to get heir earlier ... we were there at 1.30 and it was 90% full then. Defo go for Racecourse or Mithras 2.00 is fine

We always use MR for Saturday games, never even the hint of a problem.
It was always going to be heavy for the Pompey game, which obviously won't be a problem for 'boro

OK, I use it infrequently .. but they did make the announcement on our bus and it seemed to freak some of the regulars on there

Depends on how early/late you want to arrive at the stadium. We normally use it around that time, but for the last 5 or 6 matches, the traffic has been quite heavy and we've got to our seats about 2.45 ish - although that is West Upper so it takes us 10 minutes to get up there from the P&R drop off point!

Just far enough away from LDC
Would support the Racecourse P&R option. after the game its usually a sensible wait and queue (walk up past bennets field rather than go up the steps to the bus park)

Depending where you are coming from I would recommend Seagulls Travel. There are a lot of older supporters using it. Comfy coaches from near where you live, direct to the ground, and away with no queuing around 30 mins from the end of the game.
