Luciano Becchio [Merida - Leeds] Undisclosed

Luciano Becchio is an Argentine footballer, of Italian descent, who currently plays for Leeds United in Coca Cola League One. He previously played for Boca Juniors, FC Barcelona Atlétic, RCD Mallorca B and Mérida UD.

A player of considerable talent - known simply as Luciano in Spain - became renowned as a lower-league talisman, scoring 28 goals in 50 appearances in all competitions, with 22 of his goals scored in the league, for Mérida UD during the 2007-2008 season. Luciano finished last season as Spain's Segunda B division 2's top scorer, with six goals coming in the last 4 games, including a hat-trick on the final day against Baza.

Luciano's nick-name is the 'battering-ram' and his main strengths are his power and pace, aerial ability and clinical finishing with with either foot.

Watch this 'goal machine' fire Leeds to League One Glory this season.

How was your trip to Eastern Europe, Crodo ?

Argentinian! Didn't we have one of those once?

Yeah but ours had only scored one 1st team goal in his whole pro career before he came here hadn't he?

Thanks for reminding me of Liam Brady's shite (expensive) recommendation to us :censored:
