Hello there,

Tranmere fan whose exiled on the south coast, just wondered what your thoughts on the game tonight are?, I think it will be close, we have improved in recent weeks and in Zola/Moore we have a good partnership up front with Chris Greenacre on the bench to come on if needed

However we do tend to switch off (as what happened against Leyton Orient on Sat) and that worries me a bit

im going to go with a 2-2 draw tonight

Hi mate, its been a very hit and miss season for us....on our day we can beat anyone and when were bad we can get taken apart by any team in the division. Very frustrating...really matters who you get tonight...jekyl or hyde..

Don't worry we tend to do that often as well. Oh well, 90 minutes against Cheltenham, we're 1-0 up. Nice 3 points in the ba.......oh wait, we just let 2 goals in. :jester:

I think virtually every team in this division have been jekyl or hyde this season, a month ago we couldnt win to save our lives and now we have picked up 4 wins and a draw in the last 5!

I have a lot of time for Brighton as I have been exiled down here for the last 10 years and get along to a few of your games a year, just hope today that we got the 3 points that lift us firmly into the play off spots

Greenacre will score, FACT

Brighton to edge it 2-1 with a goal for Dean Bowditch and Nicky Forster scoring a rebound from a missed penalty

To be honest Greenacre isnt even getting off the bench at the moment!, hes had a real dip in form but hes been excellent for us and I get the impression if he gets one then he will go on a run

Tranmere lost at Crewe 4-3 ( and I recon Crewe were shite) but then went and won at Leeds 2-0

So I reckon we are looking at a draw or narrow defeat tonight.

Wouldn't be too unhappy with a draw tonight

If I was Ronnie "Brighton deserve to go down" Moore , I'd play Greenacre , he loves scoring against us.

I am optimistic we can get 3 points but we will have to play the best we have for weeks/months. If we are average then I think we'll get done.

yeah i moved down here when i was a youngster and despite the fact I keep moving away for bits and pieces I always end up back here lol

At the moment im down here as I run comedy nights in London/South East so makes sense for me to be based this way

As I say im really hoping we dont lose tonight as at the last night I ran at Hove there were a few Brighton fans there and I stupidly bet with them that they could get in for free for the next one if Brighton won!

Got to think that we owe Tranmere one.
We were unlucky at Prenton Park this season, got turned over in the last 10 minutes last year and at Withdean last season we played really well but couldn`t break them down.It was Bowditch`last game i think and their centre half Ian Goodison had a blinder.

no not at Selhurst park im afraid I run them at both Wimbledon/Hove greyhound stadiums

looks as though Greencare will defiantly be on the bench for tonights game and as he hasent been even getting off the subs bench recently I would expect that he will only get 5-10 mins

er. Having been brought up there (Grasville Road between Victoria and Mersey Parks) I can categorically say that Tranmere is NOT a nice place.

I was there last month for a sort of nostalgia trip and it is still as crap as it was when I lived there.

People are top though.

My manager a Tranmere fan, so tonights a biggy.

He reckoned your lot played Leyton off the park, you have a great australian defender whse obviously a fruitcake, that probably cost you the points at Leyton.

I've always had a soft spot for Tranmere, must be asy to support Liverpool or Everton on your doorstep, fair play to any Tranmere fan, although I know they had a hell of a lot of 'naughty faces' in the late seventies/early eighties.
