When I heard on the news that 2 people had been arrested I assumed it was the protesters. No , it was 2 guys sticking up for our troops , with one of them charged for racially aggravated harassment. I dont believe it.

As its been said so many times before, its a tiny majority, and probably no more than felt WW2, The Falklands etc etc was wrong, its just that back in the day, those protaginists didnt live in an era when people could say what they wanted and wouldnt have to think too much about the consecuencies.

I never met anyone who thought the Falklands Conflict was wrong. Some that thought we should not have sunk the Belgrano, but nobody that thought the whole conflict was wrong.

However, I know a great number of people who think that the invasion of Iraq was wrong, including me and some now serving in the armed forces. That said, the scum that protested against the soldiers should not be allowed to - have a word with Blair, Brown etc., but leave those doing there job alone!

The guy in the television this morning who was one of them, was apparently born and raised in this country, but is such an extreamist that he chooses to wear tribal clothes, and he should be locked-up or deported for what he was saying! And then to have the cheek to point out that the old bill knicked people who tried to shut them up....

sedition....actions or speech urging rebellion against the authority of the state or ruler
