Train Websites - Tube Durations..

Why is it on Train Websites (National Rail AND The Train Line) that the time they say tubes are going to take is about THREE (+) times longer than how long it actually takes? For Instance...59 minutes between Victoria and Paddington?

Doesn't matter I s'pose, just wondering.

Is the right answer it is quite frightening how people lose their mind totally when using London Underground and become clueless.

Worst case scenario for getting to a station as a tube leaves, transferring and the same thing happens, etc, I guess?

These timings are actualy accurate as when they were testing the timings the people used where chosen from a broad selection of the community age and color wise,sadly for the timetable listings the compilers failed to take into account that this slice of broad british life all came from the croydon area,it was noted in later video evidence 99% of those on test and as loyal palace fans could not bring themselves to go on anything that moved forward or upward hence overcrowding on the downwardly spiraling staircases and escalators.
