Train to Milton Keynes

For my sins, I live in Milton Keynes so I'm happy to help if anyone needs any info.

If you travel to MK Central station you'll want a no. 6 bus which stops very close to the stadium. If Bletchley, also get a 6 (going towards MK). The stadium is walkable from Bletchley station, although not if you only like short walks.

I don't go to pubs much but those in central MK are modern - Wetherspoons and the like. Bletchley better for trad. pubs.

Ask away if I can help with anything else. I'll be there, in the family enclosure. We're introducing our six year old granddaughter to football and the delights of a Seagull away win (okay, she knows nothing is certain in football). It's a family fun day at Stadium MK apparently.

3 1/2 hour journey, depends what time you want to arrive. I've only got times written down from Newhaven, so add the time from Seaford.

7-32 gets there @ 11-08 8-32 gets there @ 12-04. 9-32 gets there @ 13-04

I'm going down the cafe in Newhaven before going to the station, what time does The Shore open for breakfast?
What about the 832 train mate that would get us there in good time for a fee beers

Change of plan, see other thread about MK Dons tickets.
We better go a bit earlier or go later. Train will probably be rammed at Clapham Junction, better go to East Croydon.

It will get to East Croydon at 10-22 .

Train leaves EC at 11-10 and gets to Bletchley at 12-54.
We can ONLY use Southern trains and they are one an hour direct train EC to Bletchley.

To get the 10-10 from EC to Bletchley we will have to leave Seaford about 8

Anyone going to head West to Arundel and go from there rather than the buses to Three Bridges?

Just clarify, the day save ticket for 3/4 people at £39 was only available from Eastbourne, lewes, Hastings and seaford tourist information centres, why nothing anywhere else I don't know ! Apparently can only get 7 days in advance, so that's that!

Group save can be purchased on the day and cost £76 for 3 people if going via Kensington Olympia, think a lot more if go via Euston.

Remember can only be used on southern train, think one leaves Bletchley at 18.15, next one not for a couple of hours I think ! That train will be packed I imagine!

I've now decided to drive !

No the day save tickets were only available 7 days prior to travel, this is in southern rail website. Group save tickets I believe are available on the day from the station
