:ffsparr: They best be re-doing the backup so if similar damage occurs it wont become unusable. Doubt they will though, will probably just put it back like it was.

Well in the event of what happened the other day there's not really a lot you can do to back it up unless of course you want to double up on every single relay room and location box on the entire network just on the off chance of one getting burnt out.

Maybe protect them better so they don't catch fire? Maybe be better prepared incase they catch fire? Maybe have better contingency plans in place? I bet there is a lot which could be done....if there was a will to do so.

There's a lot that does get done but as normal in this country people like any excuse to have a good old moan about the state of the railways.
