At London Road now waiting to go out to Falmer and the 10.14 is yet to arrive. Hopefully they will run okay Brighton to Lewes but may be badly disrupted on Eastbourne - Lewes.

The 11.33 from Newhaven has just left 2 minutes late, but no signs of any other cancellations on the Seaford line at present.

National rail live services suggests only one an hour. Not looking too good at the moment.

No insider knowledge but it looks like the train involved has just been moved. I don't know the exact circumstances but assuming the track is intact and everything has been cleared then trains should be running soon but of course trains and crew are all over the place so there will be major disruption for a few hours yet I would think.

It was the Lewes to Falmer trains that were cancelled first, then the signs said the other way too.
