For anyone travelling from London and intermediate stations, the morons who 'run' (in the loosest possible sense) our wonderful railways have decided to dig up the line for the 1,845,399th time. So expect to spend many hours on a freezing and uncomfortable bus and to arrive sometime during the second half.

I had the journey from hell this morning.
Caught 07:03 off Shoreham and got to Preston Park then delayed for 10 minutes.
Limped to Gatwick then 20 min delay whilst back 4 defective coaches detached.
Got to East Croydon 40 minutes late then train terminated
