Hi lads/lasses

I'm a Middlesbrough fan who will be attending our game in March by train and i just wanted advice on how long it'll take to get back into Brighton after the game as i need to book trains home via London. Was reading on the football groundguide website that it can take a while so just wondered whether the 6:30 out of Brighton was realistic? Otherwise, is it easier travelling to Lewes then across to London?

Was impressed by you lot at the Riverside and when i've watched you on TV. Good to see a club with potential, decent manager and good fanbase doing well and i hope it continues for you.

Cheers in advance.

Personally, I think you'll get to London quicker via Lewes.

The journey from Falmer to Brighton is less than 10 mins, Lewes slightly less.

It is advised that you stay for a pint after the game, and you are welcome in the home concourses too, and about 5.30 you should be able to stroll onto one of the frequent trains.

'Real time' train info is also shown on the screens at the ground so you can time your drinking. Falmer station is only a couple of mins walk from the nearest bar, how good is that?

The stories about it taking a little while were possibly from the first few games when we were still sorting things out and getting round any teething problems.

You'll easily get to Brighton for 6.30. If you time it right, you should be in Brighton for 5.30.

Agree with above, stop for a pint or 2 to let the immediate queues go down, then get down there from 5.30/5.45pm & you'll be fine to get the 6.30pm at Brighton with plenty to spare. Trains every 10mins so any queue soon clears (if there is one at that time).

Nice one, cheers for all the replies. Looking forward to the visit as the ground looks impressive. Good luck today against Leicester. Wee played them midweek and was the most open game i've seen in a long time so expect a few goals!

(Now i've said that it'll finish 0-0!)

Thanks again!
