Oh dear. This thread reminds me of when Rik and Eddie went fishing on Wimbledon common.

She didn’t like the way he has been in the past and his comments on the Spanish football president guy who kissed the Spanish captain after the WC. …he basically defended him and said that hayes and weigman and others had an agenda against males in the women’s game.

he did go in for a handshake and hug, but hayes was having none of it.

i Think they have a point though

Jonas Eidevall has a point in that if they want to use one ball, thats what they chose and should have stuck to. His treatment of Erin Cuthbert though on the sideline was appalling and the card was well deserved. Could have even been red to be honest. I'm aware too as someone said above of his views of Weigman and the kiss at the world cup final. He really does sail very close to the wind and seems to want to court the drama and offense. Emma Hayes didn't need to give him a push though. She could have just refused to shake his hand if thats what she intended....Whilst she may be a bit rough around the edges, giving someone else a shove just brings her down to his level...

I usually wait for the balanced views of Joey Barton before forming an opinion on such issues

The gender card has also been played on this very site quite openly - that’s all I’ll say…

Poor and sexist from Hayes - no place for it in society or the game of football.

Could the FA charge her with unladylike conduct?

What was his treatment of Cuthbert? He seemed to protest at Chelsea wanting to use a second ball when they had injected before the game and was pointing at the ball in play going down the touchline, if anything Cuthbert appears to go towards the Arsenal manager, understandably out of frustration at wanting to get the game going again. Not sure what he, or indeed she did wrong?

That’s a 0.01 on the Richter Scale of Mourinho eye-gouging the Barca manager being a 10.
