From living in San Fran, just the professional-level sports:
- Baseball (a lot)
- Gridiron football (at the ‘Stick)
- America’s cup trials
- Cycling (still have the US Postal t-shirt somewhere, from before they were found out)
- Rugby USA - England
and nearby
- ice hockey in San Jose
- Basketball in Berkeley
- more baseball and gridiron football in Oakland
- big wave surfing at Maverick’s, Half Moon Bay

I never went to footie (aka soccer) in the US

In Toronto I've seen:
Baseball - Toronto Blue Jays many times
Ice Hockey - A Maple Leafs game and a couple of Marlies games (the lower league feeder team for the Leafs)
Football - A few Toronto FC games (MLS) and a York United game (CPL)
Lacrosse - Toronto Rock (they've now moved out of Toronto)
Rugby League - Toronto Wolfpack (English Championship!)
Running - I've watched the Toronto Waterfront Marathon lots of times, which always has a semi-decent professional line-up. I've taken part in the Half Marathon a few times too.
American Football - If watching the University of Toronto counts.

I could complete the set with basketball (Toronto Raptors) and Canadian Football (Toronto Argonauts) but I have no interest in either sport.

Altrincham - I have seen football, cricket (Cheshire played a NatWest Game at Bowdon), the tour of England cycling last year as well as seeing El Pres run in the manchester marathon there.

No-one mentioned the Brighton B-52s at Withdean? So that will be two at the same venue.

During nearly a year in Toronto back in the 80s: The Blue Jays (Baseball), Ice Hockey (Maple Leafs) Football (World Cup qualifier between Canada & Costa Rica).

Copenhagen: Football, Handball, Trotting, Professional Boxing & Badminton

Mexico City: Football (National team & My old favourites Necaxa (before they moved to Hotwater!!), Baseball and Formula 1.

Brighton: Football, Baseball (Brighton Jets), I think I also saw the Harlem Globe Trotters as a kid as well as the Brighton Tigers (Ice Hockey)

Apart from football, I've only ever seen other sports under duress - school sports days, as a child in Shoreham and Steyning, as a parent in Walthamstow and as a Teacher in Leyton. I genuinely have no interest in any sport but football.
