If so can Man City ask for Razak back?

They have plenty of options in midfield though, Barry , Silva, Johnson, Pizarro, Milner, De Jong, Hargreaves just to name a few. Not to mention Aguero also often gets played in attacking midfield role.

with de jong, barry, david pizarro, milner, nasri and silva i think they have more than enough in the middle to cope without yaya for a game or 2.

I thought we only got him cos Toure came back from African Nations Cup

was that REALLY the reason? or was it because gus wanted him for the 93 days that covered the playoff final just in case we get there...

Phew for the 28 day rule. I want to see him in a Bha shirt for as many games as possible. What a pleasure watching the whole team play when he is playing.

Blimey, they're obviously struggling for decent midfielders up there at the moment! I'm surprised Mankini didn't foresee this dreadful situation & decide to splash the cash in January tbh.

even after 28 days, and despite an encouraging start and his stated self belief that he is the new Toure, he didn't play for them while Yaya was away at ACoN so think it highly unlikely he will be recalled no matter what. The experience he will gain playing regularly here is much more valuable to his progress than the possibility that he might sit on the bench for City once or twice
