Should be a defining day tomorrow with the time trial.

Armstrong or Ullrich ?

I have a sneaky feeling Ulrich will have a good day which will put Armstrong under the kosh.

Ironically I'll miss it as I going to France for the day- video job me thinks.

I think Ullrich will nick it but prob. not by over a minute. That will make the run into Paris fun.
Can't believe he went for the intermediate sprint today, cheeky bugger. He is going for it big style.

Come on ya big German ya.

yes come on Ullrich, despite the cancer i don't think Armstrong deserves the 5 time accolade, he takes part in no other races all year round and his drug involvement in previous years is just toosuspicious.

however he will wipe the floor with Ullrich tomorrow.

We could have a big win here.

Millar has crashed today too, pissing rain and Ullrich has just slid across the road and he has now lost it,and his nerve.

come on Millar:clap:

Ullrich crashes. Armstrong stays overall leader. by just over a minute. But Ullrich waited for Armstrong to recover from a crash the other day. So why did not Armstrong hold back for Ulrich today?

Probably because he's a yank and being too close to call took the option which would put him in a stronger position to win.

Nice win for Miller today, could have been a double for him had he kept his chain on in the prologue.
It's all over now as far as the GC goes, they'll be drinking bubbly on the road to Paris, but the green jersey is going to be nip and tuck, with the two mad Aussies scrapping it out.

Can Miller ever turn into an all-rounder though ?

Looks like Lance will win it and hats off to him - a fantastically hard working sportsman who has beaten all the odds and joins a select few winning the Tour five times (unless he has a major disaster tomorrow).

It must be so frustrating in sport when there is an outstandingly dominant player - Ian Thorpe and Michael Jounson spring to mind totally a class above everyone else in their sport.

We are not worthy of you Lance - a gifted cyclist to say the least.
