It's a fair point. Europe has effectively added 6 more hard fought fixtures to our season already - it has surely contributed to our injuries this season, especially when you consider it puts more strain on the remaining players who might not get the rest they otherwise would have had.
I expect the forums for all the other clubs in Europe are saying exactly the same thing, needed to get backup players in the window who are PL ready, not youngsters who probably won't play this season by the time they acclimatise ?

Decent result for your boys today though.
Bet you're buzzing after that.

Think you stand a chance of another 3 points next week?
Haha , just worked out what you’re on about - Chris Wilder’s boys picked up a win at Luton.
We’ll hammer them on 18th, even without the help of Sunny Gill

To be expected when they had a full strength team, we were injury hit and the officials were on their side. We battled well though and it would have been a great effort to nick a point.

Did anyone see Gross go pretty much straight down the tunnel at FT? He looked pretty unhappy with something. Understandable with the way the game ended but surprised he didn’t come over. Wonderful if it was something else goin

yes, he was steaming angry. I think he had a go at Pervis too. The bloke cares.

I’m not too downhearted by today. Both teams kept trying to win it, and it fell their way. It happens. Very good performances from Gilmour, Steele, JP and Pascal.

Yer they were battering us for half the match. And stats backed that up. We are just not the same as last season and it's hard to come to terms with......Although we are still a damn good side.
Exactly this. Anyone who thinks we are qualifying for Europe again is kidding themselves.

I've seen him do it before - one of the shoulda-won draws at the Amex earlier this season.

I wouldn't stress on it - the man's a winner and doesn't like it when we don't.

There was no cheating. There could have been a few more yellow cards but certainly didn’t see any reds. We lost because we could only score from a penalty.
Explain the lack of red for Madison? Show me in the laws of the game where what he did is not a bookable offense.

He didn't have a mare, and so this is not a concern.

Lamptey, Dunk and Van Hecke were exceptional defensively, so Estupinan was probably the weakest link in that respect, but he was fine. Did a lot of useful moves.
He wasn’t fine at all sloppy passing, no pace and a bit rubbish defensively. I’m putting it down to Igor couldn’t play and we had no one else as he obviously struggled.

The team that lost to Spurs twice?

What about the team that beat them 4-2 recently?
