Decent first half away against a strong and dirty Spurs side. 1-0 to us is very fair considering all the brutal fouls they're getting away with.

Defensively we have been MAGNIFICENT. We're committing so much going forward at times leaving us very vulnerable on the break - but Dunk, Van Hecke and Lamptey have made some absolutely outstanding last ditch challenges.

By far Steele's best 45 minutes for us. He's been exceptional in goal and on the ball.

Spurs are getting away with murder here. They're fouling so much and getting away with it. How do they only have one yellow card? If there is a serious injury today this ref is to blame - he's giving our players no protection, he should be dishing out the cards by now.

Gonna be a tough second half. Keep doing what we're doing and we might nick another one on the break. Could go either way though.

Biggest worry here is the ref. Given a pen against us, a clear homer (managed to see a foul on Richarlison whilst literally looking the other way!), and a tough game to ref with the crowd shouting for everything. Bottled several yellows for them already. Will want to even it up without doubt.

Phew. That first half was played at quite a pace.

We're playing well and our defense is surprisingly holding, for now.
Losing the ball too often when playing out, as Spurs press in numbers. Spurs should have taken one of their chances. The ball over the top from Steele has worked, I'd like to see more of that when necessary.

To be fair, VAR has been spot on. VAR can't award yellows, and there's been nothing red-worthy at all. And they didn't overturn the penalty, which is a surprise at White Hart Lane, thought they would have found some way or other. I bet if the ref hadn't given it, VAR wouldn't have done.
Was sarcasm towards Romero and Maddison tackles.

Very nervy since we scored by the sound of it. Interesting to see what tactical changes we will make. Baleba to come on to kick them back?
