That’s because we would have been knocking on the top four door. People don’t like to think of corruption although all those decisions in one game going against us really had a bad smell about it.

If anyone has evidence of corruption, let’s have it. I’ve always been a cock-up rather than conspiracy man. We’ve seen shocking VAR decisions affect all teams this season. Every football fan in the country thinks their club has had a worse time of it than anyone else. VAR is pretty terrible, most would agree. But it’s pretty terrible for everyone.
