To be fair, that's an going bit of journalism by Crick. He tormented Archer for years, but this side story has been ignored.

I agree most has come from the left followers, but they have pummelled it so hard with the likes of comedians promoting it and egging it on further, it's not mick-taking its mainly crass and vulgar, as far as most are concerned they are what Labour party members stand for.

I doubt that they have even viewed it from this angle.
