‘A convincing and decisive result’.
What a ****.
That comment alone has just cost him a couple more votes.
That's how this whole sorry shiteshow will end - death by 1000 misguided comments.
‘A convincing and decisive result’.
What a ****.
The last large war we were in was governed by a national unity government. Johnson compared Covid to war. I don't think the government of Ukraine would agree with that though.
There is a chance that a unity government would have dealt with Covid better but there is also a chance that it would have turned into a horse designed by a committee.
I'd rather reflect on the fact that Boris and his party were given the task of looking after the country in that period and appeared to have numerous "work meetings" while ordinary, working, middle and upper class people couldn't bury their loved ones in a dignified manner.
We are never getting rid of him, are we.
Jacob Rees Mogg told Sky News:
"I think we have a choice: Either she behaves like Margaret Thatcher ... or she behaves like John Major and leads the Conservative party to a terrible defeat. Those are the choices facing her and the party..."
You may wonder why he said ''she' and 'her'. - because he said it about Teresa May in December 2018 when she got a higher percentage of the party's MPs than Johnson did today.
I have no doubt that he'll be as consistent in his view as he always is. I can't wait to hear how the two circumstances are so different that the polar opposite view will be justifiable
Big Dogg is a different dog.
I am now past wondering if he will walk, and thinking more about the next GE and seeing the count escorted off the premises. Nothng more to see here, for now.
We are never getting rid of him, are we.
One thing I would support is the Police shooting those ****ing protestors stopping us from hearing the News coming from outside No.10 with their Speakers blasting music all the time. It’s boring now and their selfishness is preventing the nation from hearing the news
Think it was the totally wrong path to go down. Should have been talking about how he hasn't the support of 40% of his MPs rather than banging on about how the Tory MPs are propping him up.Just seen Starmer’s statement though. It was shite. If you have to read from a piece of paper to condemn this PM then you are not leadership material. Half of NSC could do it without an auto cue.
God we need a credible opposition.

Yes, we should definitely be arming the police so they can deal with people shouting in reach of a TV broadcast. That seems perfectly reasonable.

The one ray of light is that Johnson is predicted to lose his seat at next election now that would be justice to be the first PM ever to lose his seat at the election
He made it clear on radio 5 tonight that he was wrong on that occasion.
No doubt that when Johnson goes he will make it very clear that this was the right decision, and he was previously wrong to have supported him.
The man is not a leader. He isn't even an arisrocrat. He is a courtier.
