Meanwhile Pretty pink fairy is over in the pit posting 'Kier Starmer has to run for his life, it's about time really'

I'm really glad that this board is moderated

And yet, until you posted this on the BB, only about three people would have viewed it, all of whom would already have an intractable position on it.

And he's probably in there because he's banned from this thread.

So NSC will only allow him to publish that sort of crap on certain parts of NSC ? Bit like Parliamentary privilege

Sounds a bit like Nadine's early defences of Johnson

And with that. I'm off :bigwave:

West is BEST
Tomorrow marks the 70th day since Boris Johnson first had to defend himself in the Commons over Christmas parties held in Downing St during lockdown.

On the 1st December 2021 Johnson stood in the Commons and claimed no parties took place but that if they did they would have adhered to the Covid laws*
70 days later we are no closer to ousting the lying sack of shite.

He is going nowhere.

*and let' have that right, by the way. Those were LAWS not rules.

Well, we are actually in an in between time where no-one has seen the report and no-one knows what the Police investigation will say.

Meanwhile a number of advisors have resigned and Number 10 has tried to "take control of the narrative" (I feel sick saying that) by spinning their resignation as a Number 10 clear out.

On the back of fag packet they have invented a new department with pseudo Civil Service jobs but filled it with friendly MPs (and ex-mates who are now mates again) who already have other jobs.

The GLA in London have re-opened their investigation too. Doesn't look me like an administration "moving on", more like one banking more trouble to come.

Feels like an international break.

That's just my opinion though.

“ if your outrage is selective, it ain’t genuine “

Having said that, the mob that harangued Sir Kneel and Lammy were quite clearly Momentum odd bods and Piers Corbyn and his Merry band of dafties, and by the audio, an Assange fan.

Ring leader already identified as ex-Tory councillor who was kicked out the party. Same people who confronted Michael Gove.

(Worth pointing out for giggles that Piers Corbyn is a long standing friend and ex unofficial advisor of Johnson from when he was London Mayor, but I digress)

Party politics don't really come into it though, the anti-vax lot are a very odd coalition, very odd indeed.

Many on the far left and the far right extremes have fused their beliefs (aiding by the internet) with conspiracy theories.

The far left anti-Semitism problem is very old and just reappeared unfortunately.

The far right are much more dynamic and have moved away from anti-Semitism (via Islamophobia) taking on Brexit and have now adopted anti lockdown/vaccines as their pet project.

Who predicted that ? They've obviously managed to groom and convince a number of old school hippies, but you ever trusted a hippie ?

It doesn't take much more than a cursory bit of research to find the same individuals are involved. I imagine they got ignited by Brexit and then got bored.

The utter oddness is they spend far much more time attacking either the opposition, the public sector (mainly the NHS) or journalists rather than confronting a mildly right of centre Government in power who are ultimately "responsible" for whatever beef they have.

That can possibly be explained by a "QAnon" type thinking, that their "preferred" administration is actually being hampered by a "deep state". Who knows ?

Further parallels with "QAnon" is the Savile/Starmer myth that originated on far-right facebook groups. I personally don't believe that Johnson comments led to the attack, since he was simply repeating what they've been saying for ages.

Where the PM let himself down was as a journalist he was fully aware of the lies and who he was "talking to". That obviously led to his most trusted and long standing advisor (who is far "radical" than Johnson himself) throwing the towel in. They'd discussed it prior to his performance and he ignore their advice.

Lastly to add to the nonsense, it would be wise not to link Piers Corbyn with Momentum. Last year he was quite happy to be interviewed by a far-right web channel employing ex-members of the BNP.

Confusing isn't it ?

To add a bit of balance, I was walking through Brixton years ago and (literally) the wind blew a flyer for an anti Iraq invasion meeting in a church hall. I'd never been to anything like that before so went along out of interest.

There was no more than a handful of people there, but Clair Short (the MP) spoke alongside some other left leaning local politicians and celebrities. It was educational.

However the second half was hijacked by some 9/11 deniers who blamed Israel whilst somehow fusing the conspiracy with the privatisation of the Post Office.

Nut jobs everywhere.

Hearing rumours that Dorries is about to announce a London bid for the next Winter Olympics. Fingers crossed.

... but only if cross-country gaslighting and speed lying are included as sports

I also hear Reg D Hunter is being considered as the target for Biathlon.
