Rumours of yet another party (gathering) this time indoors in a private office hosted by his private secretary with drinks and frivolity.
Edit. This is now a drip drip situation, apparently there are videos, photos and audio from the party on the way.
Can't wait to see them, if the greasy pig is on them he is toast by the weekend.

I'm a bit surprised that no minister has resigned over this. There's clearly going to be a leadership election this year - maybe next month - and someone who's stood up and said that he or sher can no longer support Johnson will have clean (or cleanish) hands. Hunt has a clear run at leadership right now as everyone else is tainted by this. If Sunak, say, were to resign now he could say that he no longer wanted to be part of a government that had betrayed the British public and he'd come out with some honour - it may be too late next week.

I suspect a fair few of them may be cautious about criticising him, only for evidence of the parties they undoubtedly attended being revealed.

Point of fact. The mask is of a standard size. Sunak is not. He is about the weight and height of an average 8 year old boy. Tiny.

However, the party knew exactly what they were voting for.

Which is why anyone who voted on a recent poll here thinking he would be around for decade had clearly never read a book about Boris Johnson or experienced being under him(*) as London Mayor.

Yes, I think I'm more referring to those who elected him within the Tory party itself.

I only know one Tory member, a good friend, but they were among the one in four who voted for Hunt. Many of the rest were in that shocking survey where they said how much they were happy for the country to go to the dogs rather than stay another minute in the EU.

I honestly despise the institution of the Tory party, but they have got some good folk. I've never really had a problem with most of the Tory governments I've lived under. But this, this is something else in piss taking.

I don't expect him to be leader of the party when the next GE rolls round. Probably gone unnoticed down there, but since Arcuri (who has re-invented herself as an online anti-vax, anti-big pharma, Epstein's telephone book New World Order conspiracy theorist) is now cooperating with the Greater London Authority.

This is the delicious nightmare he’s gone and gotten himself into. If he’d owned up a couple of months ago when the story broke, he might have been able to ride this out. Now he’s completely kyboshed. He should own up, but he’ll be plagued by the footage of him denying the offence on multiple occasions. So his instinct will be to hunker down and maintain the lie, probably knowing there’s a photo out there somewhere dropping him right in it.

What a shame. My heart simply bleeds for him.

What actually happened is the Mirror had heard of rumours of parties since January of last year. Started digging but couldn't make a story out of it.

Then somebody approached them towards the end of the year with more information and they had a story. Obviously decided to publish in the lead up to Christmas as the Government were starting to think about/communicate being careful about gatherings.

Completely independently, ITV News had been sitting on the video from the press conference rehearsal, which appears to have filmed at an angle looking at another screen.

In isolation (without evidence) it was somewhat meaningless, a press officer working through a hypothetical "worst case scenario" situation.

It was only when the Mirror story broke their story that the ITV knew they had something.

Not sure Cummings is involved at all, beyond dropping a few hints on his blog. Listening to the journalists involved sounds like a trickle of leaks from low level officials/employees (with a delayed sense of doing the right thing) which has snowballed. They talk about "duty of care" to their source, so it doesn't sound like individuals used to be dealing with media.
