I certainly think there is merit in an independent inquiry.

It does seem that the FA top brass are not qualified for their role in this day and age and obviously they don't want to lose their pay or privileges. There seems to be an absence of player or managerial experience and the whole set up needs looking at.

As for the players, they must be more accountable. It's all well and good saying they hurt but they have the comfort of their next weekly wage packet while losing touch with reality.

As our players often do, the England guys should go and sit/stand with normal fans at normal games which will give them a real opportunity of learning the real meaning of our beautiful game........
