Good work. I remember getting to the top, absolutely freezing. I think I stayed there long enough to put on an extra layer before turning around and setting off back down. Tough weekend that was!

Same as Snowdon, Spring day and there was a sudden whiteout blizzard at the summit, visibility zero. Very scary.

Pretty sure that's the ruins of the old observatory hotel you can see to the right of the emergency shelter.

I've sheltered in there in a white-out after climbing Tower Ridge in winter. It was actually quite cosy.

Well done, good to see Ben Nevis as now "One of our own".

Went up Ben Nevis in June 2011, was cloudy most of the way, but as we got to the top, it cleared leaving a magnificent view down into the Glens.

There's a good pub as you finish the decent too.
