It may seem a stupid question as I am still upset about the Hinshelwood/Knight cock up that I am sure cost us our place in Div 1, but are we better off at the moment being in division 2 rather than the 1st where we would certainly have a struggle to stay up again.

Top half of the 2nd or bottom 5 in the 1st? Can't make up my mind, although I'm going to miss visits to and from big clubs as well as Selhurst, but I'm sure that this season is going to be a lot more enjoyable than last.

If we'd stayed up, would we have lost BZ? Is the money we received for him crucial to Falmer, or could we have muddled through without it. So many questions!

Sh*t, cocked up there it was supposed to be a poll:dunce:

But if we were still in the 1st could we couldn't afford to risk the young players who have come through the youth setup. A year or maybe 2 in the 2nd could give us a crop of players that could save the club thousands and justify the youth set up. Isn't that worth sacrificing another year in the 1st for?

There is something nice about the second, feeling like a big fish rather than a little fish. I'll enjoy it more when we are back in the first and we can compete so for now and i content with the second. Sunderland miles away anyway and we'll get West ham in the cup. Oh yeah, we can also win the LDV Vans Trophy this year, that'll be nice...

Ive got a funny feeling we will be going to Cardiff for the LDV final. Coppell is a decent Cup manager and took Brentford to the Final didnt he?

I'd rather be in the lower half of the First.

Better grounds. Away fans usually take their full allocation.

Better players.

There is more prestige in the First. You get more coverage in the media!

Oh, and direct entry to Third round of FA Cup and No LDV crap!

Hmmm, Colchester Luton and Peterborough against West Ham, Sunderland and Forest. Comparing the grounds, I'd rather be in the 1st even if the others are easier for me to get to.
