For those old enough to remember, Mrs McCluskey the headmistress in Grange Hill, I interviewed her at the South of England show circa 1984, not sure of her real name.

Gwyneth Powell - how sad is it that I know that?

Talking of GH, I worked for a year with Jonathan Lambeth who played Danny Kendall

I think she used to live in Hurstpierpoint just round the corner from my parents house.

I met STEVE COOGAN at his after show party for the live show a couple of years back, I now have a signed photo of the two of us. I'm pretty sure he's got the same photo on his mantlepiece.

NICK HANCOCK once taught me a drama lesson, his big claim to fame then was being in Mr Bean.

Seen KATY PRICE a few times in Brighton, last time was in Churchill Square which annoyed me slightly because I had make my way round her large group of followers.

Ben Andrews used to live in my village (he might still do), and used the swimming pool at the house at the top of my road while he was having physio when he was injured. And he goes to the same hairdresser as me.

Nic Minassian also uses the same hairdresser as me, and he is good friends with a good (ginger) friend of mine.

Sort of know Daniel Bedingfield through mutual musician friends (as in, I think he'd recognise me if he saw me).

Met David Prowse (the body of Darth Vader, not the voice) in Athena in Brighton, that was fun.

Ditto the Katie Price comment above, saw her in Churchill Square with a ridiculous sized entourage.

Nearly ran Sheila Mercier(Annie Sugden from Emmerdale) over when she was crossing the road without looking in East Preston where she used to live.

Lote Toquiri, the Australian rugby player (scored in the world cup final in 2003) lives round the corner. Nice guy. I've met Michael Vaughan a few times - he's my mates cousin. I stayed in his house one night actually. And been to a strip club wih him

My wife's auntie's second husbands sister(they were sent out for adoption when young) is Gary Rhode's mum.We met her a few years back at a family reunion and she was a really nice down to earth lady. Any more obscure connections out there?

Oh and NOEL GALLAGHER once walked into Topman when I was working there, needless to say he didn't buy anything.

I briefly met Del Dettmar(who?) in the early nineties-formerly with Hawkwind in the early seventies. His mum and dad lived in our village.

Ian Botham, sat next to him on a flight from Gatwick to Manchester, David Bowie, met him at his mother's who was a friend of an aunt of mine. Various people who were either DJs, presenters or actors (doing voice overs) when I worked at Classic FM. I've also met John Major's wife (another friend of my aunt) plus various baseball stars from yesteryear over in New Jersey at some function or other.
