Will we recognise anyone come the Everton game.

There must have been far more going on with RDZ than reported

We are spending like there is no tomorrow

I assume Adringa rumours are true and he will go to pay for these transfers.

It’s really interesting to ponder, isn’t it? I wonder what he does make of it.
Probably thinking things might have been different if he hadn't persuaded Tony to take a hugely extravagant punt on Fati?

Think there will be a few off too; Gilmour, Dahoud, Moder, Igor and possibly Adingra.
However, it seems as if Tony is going all in this summer and as a Poker player and astute businessman he knows when the time is right to do this.
Also, from a PSR perspective it probably makes sense to do this now before the % of revenue basis comes into effect.
If we do overload with a few players then we have stacks of potential players that can be sold in the future for significant sums. Ie our balance sheet is huge;
Ferguson, Pedro, Adingra, Baleba, Minteh, Enciso, Mitoma, Verbruggen.

I know that Tony can be cautious but when he goes ‘all in’ it’s for good reason.eg backing his own horse Energumene in 2023 for reportedly many £100ks. Backing the building of the Amex.

RDZ must be thinking WTF
Bloom must have known his summer budget.
And why would he have kept it a secret from RDZ, if he wanted RDZ to stay?
Maybe RDZ thought the budget wasn’t big enough?
Or Bloom played it down as he didn’t really want RDZ to stay?

Are we? Three in, one out on the bigger money. And a few smaller deals in and out.
Not unusual for premier league clubs.
If we get Rutter and a right back, then yeah, it‘s a lot of spend. compensated by chunks of tthe Cucu, Mac and Caicedo Millions.

More likely simply re-stated our strategy (not blowing tons of cash in January on PL-ready players) which RDZ didn’t want to hear as he knew it meant last season would be disappointing.

I have no idea how many more signings we will get done before the window shuts.
And who may still leave

But right now I am about as happy an Albion fan as i have ever been.

Its genuinely surreal

Thank you Tony you truly are 1 of a kind.
I would.

If Adingra is the first team player to go, I could live with that. He blows hot and cold for me, has his moments and a few decent goals but a bit erratic and i'd much sooner it wasn't Mitoma, Ferguson or Pedro.

Where are all those posters who were slating the club for our transfer activity a few months ago ?
This window is obviously mad but it doesn't change my opinion that our gamble on players coming back from injury instead of reinforcing backfired. Hopefully this season puts that right and we get another chance at Europe.
