Breeze drifting in the wind, the other one evens/odds on now.

I prefer the Elliott/Codd nag for e/w value against this jolly.

Energumene wins.

Not much of a price for us mere mortals though .

Tango Boy 3.00 Exeter tomorrow.

Energumene running in a novices' hurdle at Cheltenham in March. Worth a flutter at 40/1?

Be rude not to have a modest e/w at that kind of price shirley?

*EDIT* Can't see it listed for Cheltenham via Google. Give us a clue as to which race?

Not sure how to do that (I'm no regular punter - and that's putting it mildly!) Guess losing a quid won't hurt!

Just check with who you are placing the bet with, some of the bookies will offer NRNB, which means if the horse doesn't run you get your money back. At this stage the horse is not definitely going to run in that race, it could pick up an injury or the could decide to go for another race with more of a chance of winning it. It should say at the top of the page if it is NRNB, no big deal if its just a couple of quid but still rather not lose the money on a horse that didn't even run.

Hope that helps.

Cheers. I don't have an account with the bookie that's offering those odds on line, so I'd probably have to deposit at least a tenner to open an account. I've got an account with another bookie where I can make my very small occasional flutters - think one account's enough for me!

I suspect that 50/1 offer is not NRNB anyway - if it was I expect the odds would be a tad lower!

Penhill runs today at Gowran Park (13:50) - It looks like a match between the top two but certainly worth a market check mid-morning - 12/1 at the moment

Come in a little on Betfair, 17/2 from 10s

Bit of cash for Penhill but nothing to write home about. Not for me, tends to do his best of better ground.

Apples Jade for me.
