Thank you. It was mainly to counteract the post by the Complete Badger. I can't be arsed to read my way through all of that thread, but I felt there would be others on here who would agree with my sentiment. (so long as its not John Barnes or Peter Taylor who takes Slades place.)

Agreed. Someone who can coach the defence. Someone who can give Tommy Elphick and Virgo their confidence back and play well again.

Someone who can invent a free kick routine which involves more that just belting it against the opposition wall.

Someone who can stop players getting sent off every week.

Someone who can identify a natural leader on the pitch to be 1st team captain.

Someone who can nurture people like Liam Dickinson to get them to play every week the way he played yesterday.

Someone who can get Craig Davies back, give him a big hug and show him where the back of the net is.

Someone who can inspire Aaron Davies and Elliott Bennett to ghost past full backs every week.

Someone who can tell Crofts & Dicker they are the hardest men in the world who can make Charlie Oatway and Chippy Carpenter look like a pair of girls and destroy any opposition centre midfield they come up against.

The basic ingredients of a very good League 1 team is there boys and girls, it just needs a Manager, an Assistant Manager and a couple of coaches who know how to bring the best out of them.
