I would say to "invest" £500m in a football club money pit you must comfortably have started with £2bn.

Telling your missus that you're 'investing' = 'wasting' 25% of everything you own on your football team ? I think you may still be seriously underestimating

Surely with that sort of money he must be a Tory, how would we feel about that? Could we let it slide?

I suspect that a significant proportion of the population couldn't tell you their net worth.

Me and Mrs Wz have one property which we bought 30 years ago. It's probably doubled in size but we've never had it valued. We have a couple of pensions, a fair number of investments which I actually review regularly, interests in two businesses and some bits and pieces (classic car, vintage musical instruments, watches, a few bits of jewellery etc none of which we've ever had valued).

I'm fairly confident I could guess our net worth to within 20% either way. There is no way that TB would be able to estimate his net worth with that sort of accuracy :lolol:

I guess I'll find out when I die
That’s a interesting point on your first line.

I own two properties one of which a family member lives in and pays a reduced rent and also gets 30% of any sale I make.

I bought this property in the 90s with my father who has passed away and it is rented cheaply to my cousin and his family.

my other property I bought two years ago and rent out to nurses on my mothers advice as she is a ex nurse.

I will inherit a third property when/if my mother dies so on paper I am a millionaire so how do they calculate the rich list because I can assure you I do not have a million pound in my bank account.

You'd be on the Times "Millionaire Rich List" I imagine a decent amount of London & the south are paper millionaires on property alone.

Most should be able to work out their net worth: Assets minus your debt.

Tony must be c1.5-2bn and still very liquid.

Absolutely not! With that logic he must hate Palestinians too………….we need to mobilise to get the Zionist Tory shit out.

Imagine the shame when the Geordies are down next season chanting to us that we’ve sold our soul…………..the shame, oh the shame.
