Absolutely no interest in another over-hyped Premier leage match with Sky and ITV fucktards creaming themselves over the biggest match of the season - not.

The two sides will allegedly be sharing a winning pot of £115million - while back in Halifax their club goes under for the sake of a few hundred k (john Terrys average fortnightly salary).

While clubs are plummeting into administration and real English football is turning into a carcass savaged by agents, over-inflated salaries and prima donnas who are not worth a fraction of what they are paid, the average genuine football fan of clubs such as Rotherham Bournemouth, Luton and dozens of others are going to wall and being penalised over relatively small amounts of money.

Sky were dribbling on last night about the game signifying everything great about English football.

Utter cack. It signifies everything that is wrong about this once-great game.

Its not ours anymore. It is being sanitised and ultimately taken away from the majority of the football fan.

Man Utd, Cheslea the FA, Sky, agents, John Terry, Rio Ferdinand, Joey Barton, Flamini - f*** 'em. You disgust me.

I have an interest in watching but not overly bothered who wins. What makes me laugh is people who get the hump when English fans support a foreign team against the English teams. I will generally support Barca over any of the top 4 apart from Arsenal and just maybe Liverpool.

As all top European teams are now full of mercenaries, why should anyone feel loyalty to a British team over a foreign one, unless of course it is their team???

Triumph for Scudamore and the Premiership - Tragedy for English Football.

When that Russian took over at Chelsea the dark cloud that was visible in the distance is nw just above us and tonight there will be thunder and lightening.

Sadly that is the way business goes-everywhere you look in life smaller businesses are being swallowed up because they cant compete with larger businesses. You rarely see a greengrocer or fishmonger now because supermarkets have priced everyone else out the market. Do we boycott the supermarkets? Of course not.

While we all have deep love for Brighton, or whichever club others follow, we have to accept that this is the way it is. Do you think Hull are complaining about being a smaller club? They took Campbell on loan from Man U and he did a fantastic job for them getting them to the play off finals.

Games like tonight raise the profile of English football-regardless of whether you like, enjoy or watch premiership football or not, its a fact. That that is where we are aiming. If in 15 years we are playing in the Champions League regularly, will you really complain about the plastic fans that attach themselves to the club and the Abramovich or Glazer style owners? Whilst it might be light years away from the community style club we are at the moment it will put an end to the meaningless seasons of mid table mediocrity and put Brighton and Hove Albion back in the top flight and back on the football map!

Mate I doubt if many of us would be able to afford to 'go' and watch football then.

I should really save up for that comfy armchair and a phrasebook on 'Andy Grays' soccer comments.

Very true, I bet the Premier League are wringing their hands with glee, this shows that their product is the best in Europe and arguably the best in the World. It will increase their domination of the sport and help them achieve their aim of becoming the Tescos of World football, with a shop on every corner.

At least with Man Utd and Chelsea it gives us the chance to see some British players in action, probably more than if Liverpool or Arsenal had made it to the final.

I think there's a tendency to get a bit holier-than-thou over all this. I can watch and enjoy the Champions League with a detached interest. I'm not "jealous" of the big clubs competing in it, or their money, because my loyalties lie with the Albion, always will, and I get far more out of following them than I ever would by affiliating myself with one of the Big Four or whatever. We'll never be as big as them, but then neither will about 85 other clubs, thats just the way it is.

What I would say is that this seasons Champions League has seen some of the most thrilling knockout-stages ties I can remember, the 2nd legs in particular. You may have to wait a long time before seeing a couple of games as good as the Liverpool v Arsenal and Chelsea v Liverpool games - on pure entertainment value and drama, they delivered in spades.

I'll be watching tonight. Don't care who wins, but whatever happens it'll be dramatic and memorable. And thats what you watch football for, innit ?

All these people moaning on about the state of the modern game - I hope you haven't got Sky television at home?

why? are they not allowed to watch new episodes of The Simpsons.

Bliming Sky is just a cop out, If they hadn't of done it, someone else would.

it's the fans that have allowed this situation to occur

I agree with every word of this [apart from the bit about Liverpool v Arsenal, as I am a GOOD fan so was at Roots Hall that night].
