Calzaghe won on a unanimous points decision. Was a very dirty fight apparently (I was out last night, so haven't actually seen it myself yet).

How would i know?I'm pissed.
The Sheepshagger, but he wasn't any where near as good as he was in his last fight.
The roadsweeper was a dirty bastard though, using his head to cut Calzaghe on more than one occasion.
Calzaghe won't want to fight him again, that's for sure.

Let's hope they get a reunification fight together now. I saw the Dane Mikkel Kessler win last night and now holds the WBA and WBC titles... He is very good and I wouldn't fancy Calzaghe against him.

Calzaghe on points

Really ROUGH fight. The other guy had a point deducted for BUTTING but he was so strong. Calzaghe never looked like knocking him out and only looked comfortable when he was boxing well, rather than brawling.

Great fight

I've a feeling that if that fight happened on the street and not in the ring Calzaghe would not have lasted two minutes with Bika... What a chuffing ROUGHOUSE he was, full credit to him for coming over to fight, not many do these days, 9 times out of 10 they just come over for the pay packet...

Also, Enzo Maccarinelli stopped Mark Hobson in 1:11 of the 1st Round, if anyone didn't know and wanted to.

He didnt appear to catch Hobson with a power puch more a glancing blow on the back of the head as he was missing the chin.

When I watched it on Sky+ this morning, I at first thought he'd just shoved Hobson down with a glove round the back of the neck, but as you say, it looked like a glancing blow just behind the ear/on the back of the head on the replays.

Whatever it was must have severely disorientated Hobson, judging from the way he was staggering around like he'd been on the piss.

Good stoppage from Terry O'Connor I think, if he'd let Hobbo carry on in that condition with a puncher like Maccarinelli, it could have been nasty.
