[Albion] Tonight, should the club announce it's 'retiring' the number 2 shirt?

1 -11 means nothing anymore.
It's hard to imagine #2 being handed out willy-nilly a la AK's 11.

Unlike a certain wall it'll cement 'El Capitan's' place in Albion folklore, while his jersey hanging from the rafters will inspire those who follow.

Or

Feck off with your American bollox.

Or

Corbyn is actually a really nice man who's just misunderstood.

You decide.

What a load of crap. He only cemented a first team slot when God retired

No wallowing in the past is my view, of course we shouldn’t retire the no 2 shirt

Unless of course we are going to have marching bands, half time entertainment and commercial breaks every 15 mins with hot dog and burger sellers wandering amongst the crowd selling their wares and really really cheesy loud goal music *shudder*

No. And while we're about it, bring back 1 to 11 shirt numbers. At least then if a player wearing number 2 was in left midfield for example, you'd know he shouldn't be there :lolol:

So we're gonna file this under 'maybe'.

Right you are then, let's get back to Brexit.

No the club/Bruno should spoof us into thinking that’s happening, maybe Bruno holding the shirt, shaking hands, waving to the crowd and fake crying etc only for our new RB mega bucks signing to burst out of the tunnel [Lala/Tavernier/ Aguilar] and steal it from him then hype the crowd up.

Brilliant we would be outdoing the Yanks in ott hype, don’t forget the overly loud music as this happens though

PB would definitely approve of this too

No, the number 2 shirt should not be retired. RIDICULOUS idea.

Instead, the number 2 shirt should always carry the name Bruno. Regardless who's wearing it.

No, great player, one of the best but "retiring " numbers should be a rare, ultimate accolade rather than a regular occurrence.

I quite like the idea. (although it's not a hill on which I'm prepared to die)

I'll keep running it up the flagpole, one day all you dinosaurs will have died off and I'll get my way!

I can just imagine the 'team' at the AMEX running rolling up the feckin great big banner. :lolol

No to the shirt but the beard/bald combo should be retired.

Damn - that idea might just have worked.

Be prepared to see that as an original thought in about 12 months time!
