If you stick with the whole film, the last 25 minutes will have you crying like a baby, even if you think you are a double hard bastard !!

Has anyone ever played the possibly-mythical drinking game called the BEER HUNTER? Where you get six unopened cans of beer, shake one of them really hard, put them all in a bucket of water and spin them round, then open one next to someone's head?

One of the most overrated piles of CACK I have ever had the misfortune to sit through. After an hour and a quarter, I was chewing my own ARM off with boredom. This film has one good scene. ONE. The rest of it is dirge of the highest order.

Taxi Driver was on Film 4 last night, and that is fookin BRILLIANT. Catch that when they show it again. But The Deer Hunter ? Save three hours of your life and SKIP it. You'll thank me.

Got to agree with Easy, up there with the most boring films I've ever seen.

I did however watch Uncle Buck for the first time last night, now that's a film.

Still one of the all time classic film scenes when they were playing pool to "I love you baby".

Walken has been an absolutely brilliant actor and very underated in my opinion.

De Nero has always been very good.

John Cazale we never saw the best of as he died at such a young age but was superb in the Godfather films.

I'd hardly say Walken was underrated. He's a well loved MASSIVE star.

He's one of those quality versatile actors that EVERYBODY likes. He's brilliant

OK maybe he keeps a low profile but you never hear much about him and his work is brilliant.
