Southampton and Peterborough are the only ones that matter (well, perhaps Huddersfield), and you are right - Sheff Wed and Swindon are both absolutely turd so we can expect no favours.

As for Albion, I'd gladly take a point at Oldham.

Yep. And I believe this will happen... Though I did have this bad feeling and 'i'll take a point now' thoughts about BMUFF and MK *****

Monday will be interesting but we need to win tomorrow to maintain the margin and hammer another nail in the fragile coffin of confidence of our aspiring challengers.

I probably would have been happy with a point away to them up til a few weeks ago, but given their recent form, I think I'm going to be a bit disappinted with one now - that doesn't mean I wouldn't take it though if offered. Was hoping we'd win the next 3, and things would look kinda rosy.

Can't see anything there apart from the remote possibility of Carlisle trying to recover some respect by taking a point off B'Muff. There's the remote possibility of the 'Sleeping Giant' raising it's game and taking a point against an over confident Stains but that's pretty unlikely. I'd be happy with a point at Oldham as we usually don't do well there. The big one is on Monday night when Franchise host P'Boro. Expect Boro to put a big dent in the Dons' hopes though. Given that Orient have a much better goal difference it should see the Dons to join the ranks of the also rans in eight days time.

Are you sure about that? I've been three times and seen two wins for us and a draw.

The challengers are too busy worrying about each other - all (with the poss exception of Adkins) think they are playing for 2nd. That's certainly how we'd be thinking we were swapped with any of them.

I think Swindon could nick a draw with Huddersfield with Carlisle holding Bournemouth.

On paper we should hammer Oldham but we're going to have a wobble somewhere and this has big potential. But if we do get turned over no reason to panic. I reckon Mon/Tues is huge ... Posh at Dons (which I think has to be a must win for Dons) and Saints at Charlton who've gotta come good soon and could take the wind out of their sails, Hudd's out of action and us hosting Notts which should be straightforward

I've been three times as well, one draw and two losses. It's a ground I can't stand. Not on;y bloody cold but also they seem to have the most miserable fans I have ever met. Mind you if I lived in Oldham I doubt that I'd be too happy.

Last time I went and watched us at Oldham they had a plastic pitch and they bet us 6-1! I seem to remember John Keeley had a blinder!

Hmmmm ... not so sure personally, something in my water tells me that a battling Sheff Wed side .

As l'm going to miss the last two home games (Saints and Huddersfield), was hoping promotion might be guaranteed before then, not so sure now though.

Sorry folks, that a battling Sheff Wed side might just hold Scummy Saints to a draw was what l was trying to say ... and my water is very rarely wrong! lol.

you know what,

when all the results on paper look like forgone conclusions, there's ALWAYS a few ropey results, I actually fancy Wednesday to grab a late winner at Stains....

we of course are the exception to the rule and will win comfortably 2-0.
