If i see the team tomorrow and Bridcutt Dicker and Navarro all start i will feel like walking out. Please Gus take the game to the opposition and play two wingers with Vicente behind a striker. Reading only played two central midfielders V Southampton and one was Jay Tabb who is only 5ft 7.

Sort of agree with you, but then again do you want Sparrow or Harley to start?

Would be good if JFC was included.

Shall we just leave it up to Gus to pick the team. Unless you've got he's mobile number and you want to give him a bit of advice. Please post a new thread on here to let us know what he said please.

This.

I'm particularly excited by the well-grounded sense of perspective exhibited on NSC at the moment.

Clearly people on NSC have much more coaching experience and know a lot more about our players than Gus does..

I think next season we should all put our names in a hat and the first 46 names out all take a turn to choose the team. I bet we'd make the Premiership then. NOT.

I'd be happy to see JFC and Toby involved somewhere, maybe even Gonzalez in goal.

That said though, I cannot think of any possible lineup which would make me consider walking out before we even start.

Contact the club, I'm sure he'll listen.

If he doesn't, we won't miss you

Just let Gus know the line-up you want and I am sure he will oblige.

Altenatively - raise a few hundred million, buy the club and install yourself as manager.

You have just summed it up for me.

The threads on here have been lurching from the ludicrous to the downright crettinous.

The warm up showed they were not up for it.
Gus doesnt know what he's doing

Jesus Christ - this is a business that has had around £120million invested in it and that's the start. If people honestly think that Saturday is somehow the beginnings of a disaster they need help.

Clear out was always going to happen. No revenue streams last summer like the ones at the clubs disposal now. More TV money, Top ten possible higher finish in the 5th biggest league in Europe.

Competing against the sides such as Birmingham, West Ham, Blackpool, Reading, Leicester who have either had colossal investment or parachute payments. Plus the likes of Shouthampton, Burnley, Forest, Derby, Ipswich - some people need a reality check.

just had a mail from my watford supporting colleague who is going tomorrow.

they have recalled most of their youngsters from the clubs they have been loaned out to and their manager has said that its time to give them a chance....so it looks as though they are playing a mixture of yoof and kids tomorrow.

If I see a team behind the WSU kiosk that contains the spotty teenager and the girl who can barely speak a word of English I will walk out.

The delivery of the pies is not up to Championship standard.
