Thats all.
For me, next Tuesday is far more important, facing a team who have lost their last 13 games, but by all accounts played pretty well against Swindon this week.
It could be argued that it is an irritant to be still involved in the FA Cup, when we could be facing an off-colour Huddersfield in the league and possibly keeping our winning run going.
I will be at Villa Park enjoying the day but wondering whats happening in the 8Div.1 games taking place and hoping that our players come through unscathed.
Roll on Stockport......Bah humbug !!!

100% agree with you mate, I go there tomorrow expecting a loss and anything other than that will be a bonus, Stockport is 100% more important.

:lolol: I must say I do chuckle at this 'I shall be FOCUSING' on next week and it is 'far more important' etc.

Football should be enjoyed, it should be entertainment, and it should be a good day out all round. After all, if it's not a good day out, why go?

Then again, I have been to Carlisle, Swindon, Huddersfield etc this year...

I'm expecting a heroic performance, some good fight and a dogged game that we can snatch victory from the almost starting to close jaws of defeat.

:clap2: plus its a prem ground, which 've not been to bar St Marys.

Mark Lawrenson predicts:
Aston Villa v Brighton
Villa go into this match on the back of the euphoria of reaching Wembley in the Carling Cup and, even if manager Martin O'Neill makes changes to his team, I think they will play with confidence and belief.
Brighton had a good win at Walsall last weekend and are improving under Gus Poyet, but I don't think they will win this one.
Verdict: 2-0

Great tipster our ex lawro.

Even I might go on the safe side and say I don't think a 14/1 shot will win in a 3 horse race.

I can't tell you how much Mark "I hate lower league clubs and don't remember playing for them as I am a Liverpool star and every one else is useless" Lawrenson annoys me
