Absolutely not, I’m saying certain people are only interested if Jewish people are perceived to be doing something bad.
Laughable accusation.

Just find all this incredibly funny when the answer here that people are essentially accusing “the times of Israel” being only interested in criticising Jews and Israel.

Jews and many on the left in Israel actually don’t like some Israeli organisations and are very critical of some Israeli organisation’s funding and defence of Tommy Robinson. Not everyone voted for Netanyahu, but I suppose they must hate Jews and Israelis?

Well Jack it’s truly not
If you want examples happy to share a fairly prolific list. However it’s probably not for this board.
There are plenty of examples of people making up stuff to discredit Jews, trust me I know most of family history is that of Jewish descent, I’m not a practising Jew however, but very aware of my heritage, and very proud of my heritage. But to be accused of being anti Jewish and making up “BS”, because there are clear links between some Right Wing organisations in Israel is laughable. There are some very questionable organisations in Israel who do fund right wing causes here, and do very heavily fund Tommy Robinson. The idea that groups all Israeli Jews into one category, or is people making it up to essentially make Jews look bad is offensive.

You are totally missing the points I made:

- I agreed there has been funding from Israeli groups but given this pales in comparison to Russian funding yet people decide to focus on Israeli money rather than putins cash the reason is clear and obvious.
As I said i can go on, but its not the place

I agree a large chunk comes from Russia, but a sizeable portion comes from Israel, examples have been given. I’ll happily focus on the Russian funding, but I do find the flat out DENIAL, that’s it’s “BS” is ignorant at best, that people are dragging Israel into it. They are the two countries who are probably most obvious, and like has been stated many times, it’s not necessarily even the Israeli government, but far right pressure groups. A lot of his funding also comes from US far right pressure groups, I don’t think anyone hasn’t said as much? Just the mere mention of Israel as one of two has led to people saying it’s a “disgusting accusation” is childish and futile.

On one of my visits to Israel, my host (a Bulgarian Jew who smirked as he showed me some bullet marks on a wall from when he shot at the English in the 1940s) told me of an exchange between Ben-Gurion and the US president at the time. The American commented (and I paraphrase but you will get the gist) that there are 200 million Americans and essentially two opinions (Democrat and Republican). Ben Gurion replied that Israel has 2 million people and 2 million different opinions. The standard reply to any opinion being 'who are you to say. . . ' (whatever it was).

I loved my visits. I loved the opinions, and the arguments. It struck me as a nation of creative chaos, frailty, genius and (sadly, as we have now) scope for extremism. There are immigrants (especially from the old communist nations) with allegedly very tenuous Jewish heritage who have moved there for a better life.

Anyway, I won't reminisce any more. After all, who am I to get into the way of two Jews arguing

What amounts have Russia given him and when? Not saying they haven't but had a brief search for Russian donors/payment and couldn't find anything.

Hard to get exact figures, but independently estimated at less than 5% from Israeli groups. 5% too much but it’s not a percentage that’s worth discourse. It’s obviously got traction with online antisemites like Chris Williamson and low life (sorry lowkey) but I was disappointed but not surprised to see it repeated on here

He has had funding from every single continent and the vast majority of overseas funding is from Russia. To highlight the odd donation from Isreal based funders shows your true colours. As we say no Jews no news!
There's been plenty of talk of Russian money/interference in the Far Right thread. This just feels like an attempt to shut down discussion of another aspect of the story.

Don’t agree with that I’m afraid. I think it is worth discussing, he has massively shifted focus towards being very visually pro Israel on social media. I don’t think that’s a result of increased funding etc, but it’s certainly notable, it’s always worth the discussion. Not the shutting down of that conversation as total BS, or that accusation that it’s focussing on the Israel to make them look bad. A lot more nuanced answer like the one above is probably a better way of discussing it.

Shut down 😂
I know us Jews control the media but our tentacles haven’t managed to push through to the mods of NSC

He’s had multiple trips to Moscow with Russia Think Tanks there was a good thread on Twitter about it. I think his increased focus on the Israel debate, and various photo opportunities, high profile funding cases, are notable and worth talking about (with a bit of nuance which would be really nice for once).

Yes of course, anyway I don’t think conversation topic is going anywhere, I think the Israeli funding is notable, although not very much, not compared to the Russian and US funding, and worth discussion, but it’s fine if you don’t think it is, I just think some of the responses to it have been harsh and just accusational.

I agree with you its worth discussing
I think discussion levels vs funding levels is a tad imbalanced.

Thanks. Knew he had been to Russia and to Israel but haven't seen reporting on any specific amounts or names of donors (still feasible has happened).

My best guess bases on what's available is his largest income is currently Twitter since Elon monetized it and then pro-Israeli groups (declared publicly) and individual donations from the public.

I'm not talking about moderating decisions. Your post was essentially accusing an antisemitic motive which isn't exactly encouraging discussion of the issue! I'll leave it there.
I know, it was an attempt at humour.
Discussion is welcome I was simply trying to point out that there was an imbalance on the discussion. Very little mention of the huge US & Russian funding of the horrible little man and lots on a number of threads of Israeli funding. Which I’m sure you can agree is a tad strange

As a Zionist. A believer of Jewish control of western media. A believer in the octopus control of global influence and dejewing jews. You and Tommy Robinson have a strong but fragile friendship.
