I'm sure that there will be a fee involved and is it really such a big deal.
Not a big deal at all regardless of fee, but that's rather the point.

It's a bedtime story show on the cbbc channel, so far outside his ordinary stomping grounds (and if he is paid, a lot less than he'd get for anything else), that I'd be inclined to think he's doing it because he wants to. Decent chap.

There's quite a history of big stars doing the bedtime story. I think it'll be good. I imagine it has a lot to do with exposure for his flagship BBC drama Taboo coming out in Jan. Which also looks promising.
