For taking pictures during the game. You're supposed to have a permit if you're using a proper camera :-/

Managed to bag a few good ones though...

I didn't realise Sir Tony did the pitch walk!

I don't know who he thinks he is. He marched his kids across the PITCH, from the West over to the East just so they could meet Gully. He even demanded a steward assist his kids in getting over the advertising hoarding. Quite why he wasn't rugby tackled to the ground, I don't know. His kids got to spend some quality time with Gully, whilst other kids in the stand behind him were being ignored. To then have the cheek to stroll his kids back over to the pitch to the West stand as well was nothing short of a disgrace. I'm pretty sure he sat atleast one of them in Gus' seat in the dugout too. The nerve of the man.

I got told off yesterday to. Was in the south west corner between west and away, and bought pie and pint from caterer in the corner (smaller queue).

Was drinking pint when Bridcutt was getting player of season award, so I walked up behind one of the PVC screens in the corner and just peeped through the gap to watch.

Steward bowls over with "get back, get back....... you're not allowed to look at the pitch with any alcoholic drink, its an offence"

But I was allowed to watch the TV of it. Maybe thems the rules, but seemed a bif daft tbh, I can understand you can't take a drink in the ground proper, but seemed as daft as saying, you're not to take a drink out of the pub (reasonable), but its also an offense to look out the window with a drink.

What constitutes a proper camera?

Sorry, re-reading that and saying "proper camera" sounds a bit condescending. I should have said DSLR with medium telephoto lense.
Think I might have to get myself another, better compact.

Cameras are prohibited because of specific legislation in the Football Spectators Act. Why was this included in the act? What was/is the issue?

Only problem I had was getting my DLSR into the Amex in the first place - the steward was quite unimpressed when he saw it on searching my bag. I explained that I knew about not taking pictures of the match and it was just for the lap of honour, but he still wasn't particularly happy about it.

Got a few of the parade though - but quite like this one of Fire-Breathing Jo at half time... http://www.flickr.com/photos/danjc003/6954072850/in/photostream/lightbox/
