He actually caused all the ill feeling and agression between the players.Perhaps we should all complain on Refwatch,it's not as if we lost so perhaps they might listen.

hammond was booked when the ball was booted at him from a yard away when he didn't have time to retreat

that 4th official was having a good laugh at the bald comments though

He bottled it twice on red cards for PNE players - would have made the win a lot easier if had red carded one of them

He was walking away from the ball at the time and didn't even see it til it hit him on the back of the leg. Disgraceful booking. Far too many stupid Albion bookings for petulence tho.

Basically taking too long to get 10 yards away but the stupid thing was that he was already backing off when the ref booked him.

The ref totally lost control of the game today. One minute he wouldn't book anybody and then when he remembered which pocket his cards were in he started booking anybody in stripes.

Was the ref on Tuesday night that bad? I thought today's was the worst I have seen since Prosser. I've not seen anyone so pedantic for a long while. Danny's and Hammond's were both farcical. How many were there in total? I didn't think it was a dirty game.

I counted 8 cards, ludicrous of a game that wasn't really dirty,

Disagree with WHS about Danny's booking - I thought that was one of the few that he got right. Bad foul.

I couldn't understand why Mr P. Taylor was so quick to hand out yellow cards for minor offences like not giving ten yards within 2 seconds of the free kick being awarded (only to players in stripes though); but some pretty bad tackles and diving from PNE was ignored? It must be that on TV we can see him pacing off the ten yards-he did it at least three times whereas for a regular free kick we only see him briefly?

The man was a twat. How did he let that bleached blonde wanker Smith get away with all of his antics yet booked Leon for doing what all professionals do these days immediately after a free kick has been awarded?

It's time referees were suspended for displays like that seen yesterday. Fortunately we won but twats like P.Taylor could have a major influence on our end of season position.

Well I thought tuesdays was the worst I've seen but then I havent seen every game. He annoyed me coz he turned down a blatant penalty & missed the left jab to Leons face which the whole of the North Stand saw.

the standard of refs has dropped over the past 5 years

Danny never touched the domestos head, won the header well and the bloke goes down with a massive dive and a loud girly scream, the lays there rolling around. Danny gets a yellow card, demestos gets back to his feet without needing any treatment and a big smile on his face, the ref was totally mugged by him.

I didn’t even think the free kick was taken from the correct position anyway. After the earlier Albion booking from a minute or two earlier, it seemed the PNE player kicked the ball at Hammond on purpose knowing what the ref was like.

The ref had an absolute shocker yesterday.

Tomorrow we have Keith Hill as ref.

Watched The Championship this morning - Millwall vs Reading - in which he refused two locked on penalties for Reading. Leaon has no chance going down in the box tomorrow.

oh yeah. that was the other reason i was angry. the preston player moved it 10 yards forward cos he thought that was what the ref wanted. the ref didn't know, and moved it another 10 yards. it was bloody stupid
