So what do we think of our nation's capital's natives?

A well-meaning light-hearted happy-go-lucky easy going population, or a bunch of miserable arrogant tossers? How many people have I offended by merely asking this question? Or is it merely a case of them being thin-skinned?

Define your opinion of 7 million people (1/7th of England's population) in one short phrase. Go.

london borough of brighton !!!

i was in s'croyd the other day comin down on the train and a group of pikes got on and asked me "what zone was brighton in" because they only had 1 - 4.

i was gonna take the piss but they might've 'happy slapped' me.

i love london, i think sussex is a microcosm of england in that the big city is very different from the rest of the land. as a brightonian i have heard some negative/backwards comments directed to brighton from sussex folk much like provincial folk do to london.

I've recently purchased a reversible morris dancing / pearly king jacket so I enjoy the best of both worlds.

I think the major difference is that when you take your cow to a Sussex market you are likely to come back with a handful of magic beans.

If you take your cow to a London market however, you are likely to get it clamped or stolen.

LOL!

And working in Primrose Hill! :drunk:

I lived there many moons ago, a nice quiet area. They have been building like maniacs the last few years to house the Canary Wharf hoards. Hard to believe now that it was all working docks not so long ago.
