Have a look at what happened to Watford at the end of last season - 1 win in 9, barely scoring any goals.
Fans wanted the manager out and were complaining about the poor standard of football (sound familiar?)
They started the season joint 3rd favourites for relegation.
They stuck with he manager and look at the season they have had.

Not saying we will necessarily do as well as Watford have done BUT a poor end to the season does not necessarily mean a poor following season (according to some we are as good as relegated next year already!)

Hard to judge next season before we know the new squad members and those who have moved on , then maybe we can say we have or have not improved.
