You'd think so wouldn't you but it's quite warm for the time of year here today and they've all disappeared.

Early in the summer I had two blackbird nests in the garden, the birds were around most of the day and really noisy and active in the evenings, but I haven't seen hide or hair of them since about the middle of August...absolutely nowhere to be seen, haven't a clue where they might have gone.

Earlier in the summer I was lucky enough to spot a crested chuff. Sadly no sign of a shag though.
