Do you think the premiership will take the same route as many other sports nowadays and have play-offs to decide the champions ?

Dunno, but you can bet your life that if it was ever put to a vote, the same clubs that vote for it would be the same clubs whinging about too many fixtures.

I don't think it will happen so long as FAs (in Europe) have some control over their own affairs, until UEFA or FIFA decide they want it that way, then it will happen.
