Tomorrow's meeting at Ayr is subject to a precautionary inspection at 6.45am in the morning.
Clerk of the course Anthea Morshead will take a look at the track as overnight temperatures are forecast to dip well below freezing.
"As there is a band of high pressure right over us, the Met Office believe it could get as low as minus four to minus five tonight," she said.
"If that is the case I would be pretty pessimistic of racing.
"However, temperatures are far more favourable for Saturday's meeting and I would be more confident that should be okay, as it stands."
Today's Northern most meeting at Kelso was abandoned.

If there was a way of doing it i wouldn't mind running it for you during the summer, it probably wouldn't work though, shut up TRIGGER.nail-Z-gull said:If the Cheltenham competition goes well I may well throw a few competitions in during the summer... leading up to the Derby etc...
A lot more work than any of the other competitions though so no promises!!!
