sort of nicking this from Radio 1 this am , but how much do you tip ?& when?

That comedy Dave bloke says for a cab , he will always round up to the nearest £1 but if the fee is bang on the £ , he will not tip.

I am a bit of a mug with tips and apply the above law + an additional £1/£2 for , Fast food deliverys I always apply the same rule.

Restaurants i find myself tipping , even when service included.

I always tip the same but have stopped in restaurants where service is included as that in effect is a tip.

In cabs I round up to the nearest 50p. I can't be arsed with getting change so it's more to do with that than because it's been a good journey. I don't think they relly deserve tips to be honest, they make enough money for nothing anyway. If they've been polite then fair enought, congrats on being a nice human and that.

Fast food deliveries will recieve a tip if they have been quick.

I only really tip in restaurants where service has been of a good standard. If it is good then I'll go to 15% but 10% is standard. If service has been very poor then they won't get jack.

In a resturant I usually tip about 10% depending on the service, always with cash rather than rounding up the credit card as well as at least then the waitress/waiter gets the money in their hand (even if they then have to put it into a pot).

If service is poor I tend to leave a very small tip on the basis that no tip at all gives the impression that you either never tip or forgot.

Always give 10% or more whether service charge or not. Service has to be really poor for me not to tip at all. Don't usually tip Cabbies although I did £2 on Friday. Never order fast food so no need to tip.

also hairdressers , normally bung them £2- £3 depending on the conversation we have had
